Artburst offers a wide range of sculptural projects for EYFS, KS1 & KS2. Why not turn your rubbish into creatures and make a ‘Recyclatron’ or ‘J Junkasaurus’. Sculpt Your School workshops are ideal for school Arts weeks, and can involve just one class, or an entire primary school! Combining games, songs, dance and arts activities, these projects always result in a large-scale art work that can be kept by your school. This is a great way of exploring recycling with children and being resourceful with unused items.
Themes:
Recyclatron, Totem Pole, J Junkasaurus, Angel of the East, Tower of We, Mushroom from Alice in Wonderland.
Testimonial:
“Artburst organised a Native American workshop for our Year 2 children. We contacted them with the theme, that was based on our Arts Week and they did the rest! Not only did they organise fantastic activities, which included drama, music and art, they also brought all of the resources – including paint brushes and palettes! The children had a great time and have produced a huge (12ft) totem pole, which parents and visitors to the school admire. Artburst are an enthusiastic team and we were very impressed with what we saw – we will definitely be using them again. Thanks Artburst for a great experience and we look forward to seeing you in the future.”
