Shadow Stories explores the weird and wonderful world of the Brothers Grimm Fairy Tales. Participants will create their own modern take on these classic stories and create a shadow puppet play complete with sounds effects to perform at the end of the workshop. We will apply simple script writing and shadow puppet making techniques and learn everything involved in putting on a show. In some instances plays can be filmed and edited so participants can rewatch their work again and again. An ideal way to explore science, art and literature in a creative way. To work together as a team to produce a performance. To build on friendships in diverse communities and encourage confidence and empowerment through the arts.
